Hace un tiempo recibí un mail de un banco británico llamado Halifax que yo no conocía pero existe, y en el que no tengo cuenta. El mail dice que han descubierto que la información de mi cuenta esta incompleta y adjuntan un enlace para que acceda a mi cuenta y complete la información.
Al acceder al link, sale una pagina que claramente es un fake del verdadero banco (para quien no lo sepa un fake es una copia de una web a la que se dirige a una victima para que introduzca sus datos de acceso que luego llegaran al creador de dicho fake)
Aqui os dejo el mail:
Dear (aquí ponía mi dirección de correo electrónico),
Thank you for reading this message. It contains essential information to facilitate the use of your Halifax Bank account and its various services.
Our technical service department has recently discovered that your information on file with us is incomplete. Have you changed recently your phone number and/or address ?
To ensure that your banking service is not interupted, please update your information by following the link below :
****://www.halifax.co./1/2/usrverify&jsessionid=12346&usr;=(aquí mi correo)
(aunque el ese link copiado al navegador no lleva a ningún sitio si pinchas sobre el en el mail te redirecciona al fake en esta dirección: ****://videosdanet.buscasulfluminense.com/inp6/hlindex.php?hlonl=115&pegonl&hlfon;=1&bnkalert=12

Si entrais en la web del fake y comparais con la web verdadera del banco (https://www.halifax-online.co.uk/personal/logon/login.jsp)
se puede ver perfectamente que la del mail es un fake.
